Charity is making big changes through ASHA
September 15, 2019We visited a government school, state-run middle school in Bandua, Namkum, and distributed many things to the children.
Total Project Cost Rs 1.75 Lacs
We felt very happy and delighted after helping the students in the school. Their eyes have all the rays of their bright future, and we felt blessed to be a part of that school in any way possible.
Together we will always keep coming forward as a ray of hope for such institutions, so that they always have a ray of hope in the society.
About Namkum Govt. School
This school is one of the oldest schools in Namkum block. Situated about 25 km from the block headquarters, this school has classes from pre-primary (KG) to class Eight. Presently, 100 (Hundred) children of Karega and Eruad villages of Bandua and Nachaldag Mundatoli and Khunti block (district-Khunti) of Namkum, (37 boys and 63 girls), are enrolled here. On the basis of social category, this number is 30 boys and 55 girls of scheduled tribe and 7 boys and 8 girls of other backward classes. Almost all the children coming to school on the financial basis are in the BPL category. The mother tongue of these children is Mundari. Their parents / guardians are usually marginal farmers. Mid-day meal scheme in the school is operational under government schemes. Currently 5 government teachers are employed here whose minimum qualification is graduate trained. In the past years, 100% children of the school have been successful in the class 8 board examination (conducted by Jharkhand Adhyavidya Parishad, Ranchi).
Paradise Ranchi is an organisation which not only donates the money but ensures the donation of time and happiness to the kids of my orphanage. Always feel proud to be associated with an organisation like them.
